Function: Herba Sedi is a fresh or dry whole plant of Sedum sarmentosum Bunge. "Compendium of Materia Medica Collection" said its "elimination of carbuncles, inguinal bubo, jaundice, tinea throat". Scholars at home and abroad have isolated a variety of chemical constituents from Herba Sedi, including saponins, flavonoids, alkaloids, triterpenoids and so on. Pharmacological tests showed that Herba Sedi had the functions of liver protection, immunosuppression and antimicrobial activity.
