Vine Tea Description: Vine Tea refers to the stemand leaf of Ampelopsis grossedentata(Hand-Mazz) W.T.Wang. It is widely distributed in Hubei and Hunan, Guangdong and Guangxi, Fujian, Yunnan and other places. The pharmacological activity researches suggest that Vine Tea has the effect of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-tumor, liver-protection, blood glucose-reduction and blood lipid-reduction. Modern chemical researches show that the main active ingredients of Vine tea are flavonoids, of which dihydromyricetin is the highest. Dihydromyricetin, also called Ampelopsin, is a special kind of flavonoids.
