Formononetin Description: Description: Formononetin, extract from the flowers and leaves of Trifolium Pratense L in leguminous plants or the wholeherb of Ononis spinosa. It can anti-cancer effect for preventing breast cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, improving osteoporosis and improving women's menopause symptoms, and so on. It has antiseptic, cholesterol lowering and estrogen-like effects. It has the effect of reducing blood lipid to the experimental animals. It is used as a diuretic.
