Uva Ursi Extract Description: Uva ursi extract from dried leaves of uva ursi of Rhododendron plants, the active ingredients is arbutin and ursolic acid. Arbutin also called Ursin, appears white needle crystal or powder. Arbutin has a variety of pharmacological activities of antibacterial, antitussive, diuretic, ect. and can effectively inhibit the tyrosinase biological activity of skin, blocking the formation of melanin, thus to reduce the skin pigmentation, remove spots and freckles. Arbutin is a natural active material derived from green plants.
