White peony Description: With years of research, Scholars at home and abroad have isolated a variety of active ingredients from Paeonia lactiflora, including paeoniflorin, hydroxy-paeoniflorin, paeonin, albiflorin, benzoylpaeoniflorin. These ingredients are called Total glucosides of paeony (TGP). TGP is a group of monoterpenes and a new type of immune regulator with the activity of anti-inflammation, pain relief, and immunity regulation. The paeoniflorin accounted for more than 90% of the total glycosides, and it is the main active ingredient of Paeonia lactiflora.

In addition, the root of Paeonia lactiflora also contains volatile oil, fatty oil, resin, saccharides, starch mucus and protein.
