Luo Han Guo P.E. is a new type and natural sweetener with a low Glycemic Index Value. Our Luo Han Guo P.E. 80% Mogrosides is 300 times sweet as sugar. It is unlike fructose, sucrose or glucose. The sweetness in the Luo Han Guo comes from unique compounds called mogrosides. A1129 – Monk Fruit Extract as a Food Additive
The purpose of the Application is to permit monk fruit extract as a food additive, specifically as an intense sweetener.
In May 3, 2016, according to the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Agency (FSANZ) news, The FSANZ issued a notice 11-16,approved the application of SarayaCo., Ltd, A1129, allowing the use of Monk Fruit Extract (Mogrosides) as a sweetener for baking, the recommended maximum concentration of 8000mg/kg.
